How we write this

Every figure on this site is traced to a primary source.

Safari information online contradicts itself constantly — the same Serengeti entry fee is quoted as $70, $83 and $30 across page-one results. We go to the published TANAPA and NCAA tariffs, the gazetted KWS legal notices and the peer-reviewed ecology, and we show our working. Where two official sources disagree with each other, we say so instead of quietly picking one.

Fees, dated and sourced

Tariff tables carry the date they were checked, the authority that set them, and both net and VAT-inclusive figures — because the two authorities publish on opposite bases.

Seasons as probability

The herds follow rain, not a calendar. We write timing in the language of likelihood, and tell you how many nights to budget rather than selling you a date.

Only camps that exist

Every property listed is verified against at least two independent public sources. Where no published rate exists, we leave the price out rather than invent one.
