Berg-en-Dal opened in 1984 as one of Kruger's "new generation" camps, deliberately built with low-profile buildings set among granite hillsides and flowering aloe gardens rather than following the older colonial-style camp layout. A guided Bushmans Trail walking safari departs from here.
