Formerly "Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp," this lodge reopened in June 2025 under Abercrombie & Kent / A&K Sanctuaries as "Gorilla Forest Lodge, an A&K Sanctuary" after a full rebuild. It occupies a forested slope inside Bwindi Impenetrable National Park itself — one of only two lodges located within the park boundaries — where gorillas occasionally wander onto the grounds.
