tented camp 9 units — 8 tented suites plus 1 family suite

Lebala is in the southern corner of the 232,000-hectare Kwando Private Reserve, on open floodplain adjoining the Linyanti Marshes. Eight tented suites and a family suite have mesh walls for open views and private viewing decks; the main area stands on stilts above the swamp edge with open-sided dining, lounge and bar. The reserve is shared only with Lagoon Camp, and the camp's emphasis is off-road predator tracking by guide-and-tracker teams, supported by day and night drives, guided nature walks and helicopter safaris. Mopane woodland and floodplain together support lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant and wild dog. Operated by Kwando Safaris.

About the photographs

The pictures on this page are stock photographs of African bush and desert country, chosen to suggest the kind of landscape you find around the Linyanti and Selinda country, Botswana. They are not photographs of this property, and we cannot verify where any of them was taken — a stock library records the photographer, not the place. We use them rather than borrow the property's own marketing images, which would imply we had been there. For pictures of the rooms, see the property's own site.
