Mara Nyika Camp is Great Plains Conservation's camp in a valley within the private Mara Naboisho Conservancy. There are four guest suites of about 1,000 square feet each, with an indoor lounge and separate en-suite bathrooms holding brass baths, double basins and indoor showers, plus a two-bedroom family suite sharing a common lounge. Game drives use open-sided canopied Land Cruisers carrying a maximum of four guests. Balloon flights are available at extra cost. Other activities the operator lists are cook-outs, tree planting and Maasai dancing. Quoted rates are fully inclusive of park fees, meals, drinks and scheduled air transfers from Nairobi Wilson on a two-night minimum.

Capping game-drive vehicles at four guests, in a conservancy that already limits vehicle numbers, gives every guest a window seat without a private-vehicle supplement.
