This is a genuinely mobile camp of six Meru-style canvas tents that is struck and re-pitched several times a year to stay near the wildebeest herds, moving between the southern short-grass plains, the western corridor and the northern Serengeti as the migration does. Tents have en-suite bucket showers and eco-flush toilets, iron bedsteads, canvas luggage racks and solar lighting; there is no permanent infrastructure. Capacity is about fourteen guests. Access airstrips change with the camp's position. The trade-off is fewer fixed comforts in exchange for proximity to the herds.
