Klein's Camp occupies a private concession of about 10,000 hectares leased from the Maasai community on the north-eastern edge of the Serengeti, between the national park and the Loliondo area. The ten cottages are stone-built with thatched roofs, set along the edge of the Kuka Hills looking down the valley. Because the land is a concession rather than national park, the camp can run off-road driving, night drives and guided bush walks, none of which are permitted inside the park itself. Other activities include Maasai village visits and photography-focused drives; there is a swimming pool and a children's programme. Game moves through seasonally on the route between the Serengeti and the Loliondo highlands.
