Andersson's is the Ongava camp built around research and photography. Its stone-and-glass suites face a waterhole, each with a wide viewing deck and a live video feed from the waterhole camera in the room. A sunken hide reached through a tunnel puts photographers at eye level with drinking animals. The camp houses the Ongava Research Centre, an independently funded facility where scientists work on the reserve's fauna and flora, with an adjoining visitor centre covering the reserve's history and its rhino reintroductions. Activities are game drives on the reserve and in Etosha, walking safaris, rhino approaches on foot, night drives and birding. The camp is named after the 19th-century explorer Charles Andersson.
