Camp Okavango occupies Nxaragha Island in the permanent-water heart of the Delta, away from the road-accessible eastern reserves, so it is reached by light aircraft. Eleven raised suites and a two-bedroom family suite house a maximum of 24 guests. Because there is little drivable land, the programme is water-based: motorised boat safaris through channels and lagoons, mokoro excursions, and guided walks on surrounding islands. Seasonal catch-and-release fishing for bream, helicopter scenic flights at extra cost, and a sleep-out platform for stays of three nights or more are also offered. Birdlife is the main wildlife attraction alongside hippo, crocodile and lechwe. Operated by Desert & Delta Safaris.
