Gomoti Plains is on a private concession beside the Gomoti flood plain in the south-eastern Delta, an area of open grassland and channels that fills seasonally. Eight double tents and two family tents, all en-suite, take a maximum of 24 guests. Activities are game drives, armed walking safaris across the plains, mokoro trips and motorised boating when water levels allow, plus birding and cultural visits to nearby communities. The area is known for large seasonal concentrations of game and for African wild dog. Operated by Machaba Safaris, which also runs Machaba, Little Machaba and Kiri camps elsewhere in the Delta and Khwai.

About the photographs
The pictures on this page are stock photographs of African bush and desert country, chosen to suggest the kind of landscape you find around the Okavango Delta, Botswana. They are not photographs of this property, and we cannot verify where any of them was taken — a stock library records the photographer, not the place. We use them rather than borrow the property's own marketing images, which would imply we had been there. For pictures of the rooms, see the property's own site.
