Chobe Game Lodge is the only permanent lodge inside Chobe National Park, on the bank of the Chobe River in the park's north-eastern corner near Kasane. All forty-four rooms face the river and are air-conditioned, with en-suite bathrooms and private terraces; four are larger suites with their own plunge pools and separate lounges. Being inside the park means game drives start without a gate transfer. The lodge introduced solar-electric safari boats in 2014 and has since added electric game-drive vehicles, so both river and land activities can be run without engine noise or exhaust.
