Kwara Camp overlooks a lagoon in the Kwara Private Concession, a large private area on the northern side of the Okavango Delta that shares permanent waterways with Moremi Game Reserve. The camp was rebuilt on its original site in 2019 and now has nine canvas suites on raised decks, split into two small clusters, each divided into a living area, bedroom and bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers. It is adults-only with a three-night minimum. Because the concession holds both dry ground and permanent water, drives, boating, mokoro trips and walking all run from the same camp.

What sets it apart
The concession combines permanent delta waterways with dry ground, so water and land activities run year-round from one camp, with as few as four guests per activity.
Who it suits
Couples and adults-only trips; combining water and land safari without moving camp.

About the photographs
The pictures on this page are stock photographs of African bush and desert country, chosen to suggest the kind of landscape you find around the Okavango Delta, Botswana. They are not photographs of this property, and we cannot verify where any of them was taken — a stock library records the photographer, not the place. We use them rather than borrow the property's own marketing images, which would imply we had been there. For pictures of the rooms, and of the view they actually look out on, see the property's own site.
