Saruni Eagle View is built along the top of an escarpment in the Mara Naboisho Conservancy, above a natural waterhole and salt lick that draws game within sight of camp. There are eleven tents on raised platforms: nine doubles and two family units, each family unit being two en-suite tents linked by a shared terrace. Activities are day and night game drives, walking safaris restricted to guests aged 18 and over, balloon flights, bush meals and sundowners, massage treatments, visits to Maasai villages, and participation in the conservancy's seedball reforestation work. The camp belongs to Saruni Basecamp, which also runs Leopard Hill and Basecamp Wilderness in the same conservancy.
What sets it apart
Its escarpment-edge position above a waterhole and salt lick gives long-range views and game viewing from the tents themselves rather than only on drives.
