Saruni Leopard Hill is a six-tent camp in a secluded valley of the Mara Naboisho Conservancy, near a landmark the operator calls the Double Fig Tree. There are four deluxe tents, one family tent and one honeymoon tent. The camp is described by its operator as a founding member of the 50,000-acre conservancy. Activities are day and night game drives, walking safaris for guests aged 18 and over, bush meals and sundowners, birding, Maasai village visits, balloon flights, wellness treatments, fireside storytelling sessions and seedball reforestation work. The conservancy's vehicle caps mean sightings are shared with fewer cars than in the adjoining national reserve.
What sets it apart
It is the smallest of Saruni Basecamp's three Naboisho properties, set in an enclosed valley rather than on open plains or an escarpment.
