Vumbura Plains is two separate seven-suite camps, North and South, on a private concession in the far north of the Delta held in partnership with the Okavango Community Trust and five local villages. The ground mixes permanent floodplain with dry islands and open plains, so the camp runs both land and water programmes: twice-daily game drives, mokoro trips, motorboat outings, guided walks, catch-and-release fishing and birding. Suites are raised and widely spaced, each with its own plunge pool. Wildlife includes lion, leopard, wild dog, buffalo and sable.
