Ngare Serian is the four-tent sister camp to Serian 'The Original', built on hardwood decking above the Mara River and reached across the river from the main camp, with the Oloololo Escarpment in view. Its published position is S 01°10'27", E 35°04'29", and the preferred airstrip is Mara North. Each tent has an outdoor bathroom with hot and cold water and a bath set into the veranda above the river. As at the sister camp, bookings include a private 4WD vehicle with guide and spotter. Activities include game drives, walking safaris, night drives, river fishing, fly-camping and use of The Nest, a separate treehouse structure for picnics or overnight stays. There is no Wi-Fi.

What sets it apart
It is reached only by crossing the Mara River from its sister camp, and at four tents is one of the smallest permanent camps in Mara North.
Who it suits

About the photographs
The pictures on this page are stock photographs of African bush and desert country, chosen to suggest the kind of landscape you find around the Greater Maasai Mara, Kenya. They are not photographs of this property, and we cannot verify where any of them was taken — a stock library records the photographer, not the place. We use them rather than borrow the property's own marketing images, which would imply we had been there. For pictures of the rooms, see the property's own site.
