Shipwreck Lodge is the only lodge inside Skeleton Coast National Park, in the park's central concession area near Möwe Bay, with cabins built to resemble wrecked hulls standing among coastal dunes within sight of the Atlantic. It is a joint venture between Natural Selection, the Namibian companies Trip Travel and Journeys Namibia, and local communities, and runs on solar power. Activities are 4x4 drives along the shoreline and into the desert interior, excursions up the Hoarusib River to the clay castles, beach lunches, quad biking, sand boarding, birding and beachcombing among wreck debris. Desert-adapted elephant, lion and brown hyena occur in the wider area, and the lodge supports research on both.

It is the only lodge inside the Skeleton Coast National Park itself, rather than on its inland margins.
